Sandcastle’s newly revamped boardwalk parallels the Monongahela River and features 20 water attractions including the Mon-Tsunami Wave Pool, scenic Mushroom Pool, Lazy River and children’s play areas for the perfect day outdoors!

Thrilling & Relaxing Water Fun

Sandcastle is home to exciting water slide attractions for thrill-seekers, families and those just looking to float and relax.

Partner up for a trip on Dragon’s Den or the Blue Tubaluba, a 450-foot slide featuring waterfalls and spots of total darkness. Land in three different “sky ponds” on one slide at Cliffhangers. And for an adrenaline rush, be sure to stop by the Lightning Express, a 60-foot high double dip slide, or The Monster, a 85-foot free-fall speed slide hitting speeds up to 25 miles per hour.

The waterpark also features three different pool areas. Grab a raft and float down the Lazy River. The Mon-Tsunami Wave Pool is a 20,000 square foot pool generating ocean-like waves. Or sit back and enjoy the sounds of a waterfall at the Mushroom Pool.

Children under 54” can spend time at the Tad Pool, a two-foot deep area with slides designed specifically for kids to conquer their first ride on a slide.

Jammin' July - enjoy free summer concerts every Saturday in July as you relax on the banks of the Mon.
Bombs Away - water slide where guests plummet 90 feet into free-falling thrills twisting and turning through an enclosed inverted loop.
The Boardwalk – newly-redesigned Boardwalk that instantly reminds guests of East Coast beaches with dynamic arches and lighting.
Food & Beverage – Sandcastle Bridge Bar & Grill offers a mouthwatering lineup of new menu items.
Sandbox – 2,000 sq. ft. play place dedicated to sand sculptures complete with photo-op inducing oversized Adirondack chair.
