Restart the Arts in Pittsburgh
Intermission is over. Join the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council as it leads the way to Restart the Arts in Pittsburgh!
Pittsburgh is a world-class arts and culture destination filled with incredibly talented individuals. From theatrical and musical performances to visual arts, arts education and more, Pittsburgh’s arts and culture community is ready to dim the lights and restart the show!
To reengage the community, the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council (GPAC) launched Restart the Arts, an all-encompassing campaign to reconnect audiences with the arts in Pittsburgh and to support the safe reopening of Pittsburgh’s arts venues for in-person events this fall.
Starting in September, you can find a variety of different performances and activations throughout the city with the Restart the Artsmobile – traveling entertainment that you can enjoy completely for free in a fun and safe outdoor environment.
Performing alongside the Artsmobile throughout the fall will be the Pittsburgh Opera, Local 412, Libertoca, Hill Dance Academy Theatre, Nandanik Dance Troupe and multidisciplinary artist HUNY.
GPAC and the presenting organizations and venues featured in this campaign believe it’s time to restart the arts as responsibly as possible. Each organization has adopted varying levels of health and safety protocols to help protect you as you enjoy Pittsburgh’s world-class arts experiences once again.
