Music Lovers, get ready for the 2024 Pittsburgh Black Music Festival, a free, family-friendly celebration of Black Music in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The City of Pittsburgh is a world-renowned hub for Jazz music and the birthplace of many internationally renowned jazz artists including George Benson, Art Blakey, Stanley Turrentine, Billy Eckstine, Lena Horne, Earl “Fatha” Hines, Roger Humphries, Joe Negri, Ahmad Jamal and countless more. One of the key events that showcases Pittsburgh's rich jazz heritage and pays tribute to the city's black music legacy is the Pittsburgh Black Music Festival, where the spirit of jazz and its influence can be felt throughout the celebration.
